We are living in a unique time and while we are all staying home to stay safe, our team is continuing to work full-time to recruit and license families, provide case management, and support our foster families and children virtually during this time.
As the number of children entering the foster care system in Washington state continues to rise so does the need for licensed foster families and resources and support for foster children in their homes.
If you have a heart for helping foster children and have been thinking about what you can do to support them, now is a great time to connect with a team member from our agency about how you can get involved.
Below are some ways you can help and who you can contact to get started:
Become a licensed foster parent or respite provider
Open up your home to children in need by getting licensed with us. Connect with our licensor, Lindsey at [email protected] and she will provide you with information about our licensing process. We are able to fully license families virtually during this time.
Volunteer with us
We have many volunteer opportunities including monthly Children’s Activities, administrative office support, child care, and help with event planning. Connect with Anna at [email protected] to start the first step of becoming a volunteer.
Give an online donation
Provide financial support by giving online.
Provide a Donation Box
Fill a shoe box with items to be provided to children upon placement into a new foster home. E-mail [email protected] for information on where to drop off or mail your donation box to.
