On May 8th, City Ministries hosted our annual Fundraising Gala, bringing together supporters, families, and friends for a special evening celebrating the impact being made in the lives of children and families throughout our community.
The evening was filled with inspiring stories, celebratory moments, and reminders of the lasting difference that can happen when a community comes together to support vulnerable children and the next generation. Guests enjoyed fun, upbeat, and heartwarming performances by students from City Kids School and Pursuit Elementary, along with an incredible parent panel. One set of parents shared how City Kids School and Pursuit Elementary have positively impacted their children, while a Child Placement Agency family shared honestly and beautifully about their fostering journey. The stories were a powerful reminder of why this work matters so deeply. The evening also included an inspiring keynote from City Ministries Board Chair Lyman Legters and Pastor Jude Fouquier (City Church Ventura) joined as a special guest.
Valuable funds were raised to help City Ministries continue serving children and families with our schools, housing, and foster care program. Thank you for investing in the lives of children and helping create brighter futures for families in our community.
