A growing number of children removed from home stay in hotels in night to night placements waiting for a suitable home to be placed in

Over half of the children placed in foster care in Washington state in 2016 were under 5 years old

City Ministries Child CPA was launched over ten years ago, it has both a foster care and adoption program, and has been licensing foster and adoptive families in King and Snohomish County

With the help of many generous donors, City Ministries CPA built the Rose Hill Cottages, a community of affordable homes specifically for foster families licensed with City Ministries CPA caring for children

City Ministries CPA staff provides 24-hour wraparound support to foster families who have children placed with them

Out of over 100 children who were placed with City Ministries CPA foster families 90 of them reunified with their biological family, 12 transitioned to forever homes, 6 were adopted, and only 5 of them had placement disruptions

City Ministries has had over 100 volunteers giving their time and skills to help in the community, including helping with the food distribution program and warehouse, supervising visits between biological parents and their children, providing office support, baby-sitting foster children, and helping at monthly Children’s Activities

City Ministries CPA has had more than 1000 donors who gave of their resources to invest into the vision and mission of City Ministries CPA and support the work done to help vulnerable children in the community
